PALANG PAKUDI(PALAK/SPINACH PAKORA)

Pakora is one of most delicious and easy to make snacks.The taste of deep fried Spinach Pakora with chutney and a cup of tea is just unbelievable.



INGREDIENTS:-

Spinach(palak)-1 bundle/1 and 1/2 cup(wash and finely chopped)
Gram flour(Besan)-1 cup
Rice flour-1 tbsp
Chopped onion-1 medium
Chopped garlic-1 tbsp
Chopped Green chilies-4
Coriander Powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Chili powder-1/2 tsp(or to taste)
Cumin Powder-1/2 tsp
Carom seeds-1/2 tsp
Soda-a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:-

1-Wash palak many times and chop it very finely.
2-In a large bowl add gram flour,rice flour,chopped onion,chopped garlic,chopped green chili,carom seeds,salt,soda,all spices and chopped palak,make a dumpling batter with the help of very little water if required.
3-Now heat oil in a deep frying pan and drop spinach and flour mixture in the form of a pakodas and fry till nice golden color.
4-Remove from oil and drain on paper towel to remove extra oil.
5-Now Crispy,crunchy palak pakodas are ready to eat.Serve hot with tomato ketchup and a cup of tea.
